PALERMO: Oratorio di Santa Cita

There are too many things to talk about Palermo (and many of them are about historical churches) but today I chose the Oratorio di Santa Cita. ⛪
This amazing white polished oratory is one of the best work of the Sicilian Baroque sculptor Giacomo Serpotta, that sculpted with stucco the stories concerning the Mysteries of the Rosary, surrounded by happy and playful Angels.
The really amazing thing is the complex bas-relief in the central wall that represents the naval battle of Lepanto⛵ made with white polished stucco.
Do you ever been in here ?
If no, what are you waiting for !?! 🙈
Just go! 💼
